Watching movies on CRT monitor- any1080p monitors?

I've got my overclocking rig working with my HP Pavillion M50 monitor, and even with its lower resolution (1024x768@60Hz) and curved screen everything looks a shitload better than my LG 24EN43 LCD screen (1080p, 60Hz). Are there any 1080p monitors, and with a refrsh rate higher than 60Hz? I can only find ones (including the next model up from my current one-an M70) with a resolution of 1280x1024@60Hz.

If you mean CRTs, I don't know of any 1080p CRTs. If you're talking about LCDs, there are plenty of 144Hz 1080p monitors. The XL2430Z and VG248QE to name two.

Can you actually count the pixels in CRTs? I don't think you can..

They don't have pixels really, but they do have a maximum resolution they can display. That's how we count resolution on them.

I Think the CRT's you are looking for are the last major Sony CRT, the FW-900, which had a max res of 2,304 x 1,440 (Yes, that's a 1440p screen!)

And it ran that at 80 hz (!) refresh rate.

If you drop down to 1920x1200, you can use 100 hz or 120 hz.
