Motherboard Armor or Plate Mods?

Torey

Was wondering if anyone has done this. Something like the thermal armor on sabertooths except maybe acrylic or anything really. Just some material that covers most of the board only leaving spots for components. If anyone has seen this done a link to it would be greatly appreciated.

Read up on this awhile ago. Thermal armour plates are built by teams of engineers and have a science behind how they are designed. A "mod" will probably be impractical and a hinderance to the board, unfortunately.

 junker build in the making
