Monitors: 8ms vs 1-2ms

Darkr

Is there a big difference? Will I notice it in games like BF4 or LoL?

Thanks.

I haven't used 8ms or 1-2ms monitors but I don't notice anything with 5ms panels.

I haven't personally tested 8+ms vs 1-2ms monitors side by side, so take this with a grain of salt, but in theory there shouldn't be much a difference. Most people have a reaction time of around ~180-300ms, so adding 8ms to that, in theory, shouldn't be a big deal.

I used to be using a 1ms 1080p 144 hz panel, and when i moved over to the dell 1440p panel i have now its 6ms input lag did not really bother me. It wasent bad enough for me to notice over the drop from 1440hz to 60hz, and i didnt really get any worse in bf4, because even though it is a shooter it is nowhere as "twitch" as counter strike
