AV to HDMI converters

in the past few days i've been trying to get my hands on an AV to HDMI converter in my country (easier said than done). and since I couldn't find one I got myself a credit card and paypal account and searched it up in Ebay. I got two results that interested me:http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3-RCA-Composite-S-video-R-L-to-HDMI-Converter-3D-compatible-with-v1-4-device/261860162954?_trksid=p2045573.c100033.m2042&_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20131017132637%26meid%3D5e64a52e4e324936b8c1cedd4475e495%26pid%3D100033%26rk%3D4%26rkt%3D4%26sd%3D250868461044  and   http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AV-Composite-to-HDMI-Mini-Converter-1080P-Scaler-V1-4-Compatible-/261854606428?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item3cf7c0345c   . both are from the same seller and both appear to be just what I need to get my old consoles hooked up to my HD monitor. problem is... one is two times more expensive. have you, oh members of this forum, any knowledge as to which will last longer and perform better, since I couldn't find any reviews on the matter?

the expensive one advertises 3d capability

but you dont need that so the cheap one will be fine

Where? It just says 3D wavelet coding IMO this is used to transform the analog signal to digital.

Since the other device doesn't state the method it could use something inferior like STFT

So I'd spent more money.

they both do 1080p 60fps...which is more than you can even get with av rca cables

Resolution isn't the only important thing.
