at the moment for my build I have an asus PB238Q and i think it is a good monitor but it has some problems and it is quite old. If you could tell any good 1080p 24 inch ips panel monitors that would be great. and also what do you think of the PB238Q?

What is the issue with your PB238Q?  Does it just die sometimes or something?  I'd recommend against "upgrading" to another 1080p unless it's for 144Hz or Ultra Wide.  Or 4K.

 

I'd say since, you have a GTX 970; go for more monitors!

For the Best builds and Price lists here is a world where many points of the price have been predefined already for your convenience!

The Xeon E3 1231 V3 IS BETTER Than the Core i5 4690K and a Significantly better value for the non-overclockers or value shoppers.

The OS is like a kind food, Try it before saying if you like it or don't.

Sorry i didn't really explain very well I am still building a system and i am just wondering what you thought of that monitor and if you had any other suggestions.

You still haven't really answered my question: 

Based on the available information I recommend sticking with what you have, or buy more of them and do surround and another 970 :)  5-way 1080p monitors in portrait mode is amazing!
