How to remove password/lock screen on 8.1

HeathCliff

As the name implies, I'd like to know how to remove the login screen. Most of the guides I found online have questionable replies so I figured the best option would be to ask you.

  1. Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Search.

(If you're using a mouse, point to the lower-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer up, and then click Search.)

  2. Enter sign, and then tap or click Change sign-in options.

  3. Choose the sign-in option you'd like to use, and then follow the instructions.

Control Panel > User accounts and Prental Control (I have a Dutch Windows, so the names could be different) > User accounts > Remove password ?

I have Windows 7 though and have never done it.  I suppose that is how you would do it

The only options available are to change or add different types of passwords. I'd like to remove it entirely.

Windows 8.1 is somewhat different to windows 7. Damn you microsoft, why did you have to change it so much?
