Pick your poison, wireless isn't really suitable for gaming:

You don't need to spend more than $20. So long as you get dual band 5.0 GHz wireless-N on a PCIE card, you're fine.

also, is that fractal design case (the core 2300) good enough? I'm impressed it comes with 2 fans for that price though.

Yup, it's fine. You're not sticking overly hot components in it anyway. The i5-4690k isn't very hot, and the GTX 970 isn't very hot either, so you'll be fine even with a case with not-so-great air flow, and the Core 2300 has medium air flow.
