Just bought a VPS (remote) and installed PostGRESQL. I'm new to it but it seems very similar to MYSQL which I am familiar with. Is this command correct? I'm trying to backup the database and save it to the /home/backups directory. Thanks!

pg_dump test_db | gzip > testbak.gz -D /home/backups
