Need Recommendation for a new Editing Machine

Hey everyone,

I'm planning to build a new machine for myself. I live in India, and I don't think everyone would be able to provide me something in INR budget. However, please provide me with a list of parts to use for my build. Consider the budget around USD 1000, and I'm even willing to go a bit higher if that increases performance some extent.

Now coming to the main purpose of this build, here are a few points to consider:

  • The machine will power two monitors at the moment, probably 2 1080p monitors
  • The main applications that would run on the machine are : Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator (sometimes)
  • The system will be used to perform editing operations for images taken with the Canon 6D (Shot in RAW format)
  • The system will also be exporting near about 400 high quality JPEGs or TIFFs at times from inside Lightroom

Some things that I would like to include, can remove or upgrade based on suggestions though.

  • 1 fast SSD for Windows 8.1 and the Adobe Applications
  • A 2TB Storage drive for mass data storage (I have some external storage/backup drives, so 2TB should be enough on the machine)
  • A Good Graphic card for the machine that can power 2 monitors at least

Also, I wouldn't mind upgrading the machine in the future as my requirements increase, but I don't want to go too much over budget for building this machine at the moment.

Thanking you,

Aneesh
