How can I send Linus mail.

Does Linus have an address or a PO Box that I can send him mail to? There is something that I'd very much like to send to him (free for him) to review, or even just for him to keep for personal use.

A mac is worse than a bomb, lol. I actually wanted to send him a combined noise canceling/isolating audio product solution that I came up with. It's 5x cheaper than bose quietcomfort 25, and is much better. Dead silence (no pun intended).

I think that the address that they are currently showing is the empty warehouse. I think that I'm just going to spend some time getting all the products I need for this solution ready, and send it out once they actually complete their move to their new address.

Sorry we don't have a mailing address. That one on the LMG website is completely fake and random.

Oh? Well, that's rather unfortunate. I can still tell you about the product solution though. It's basically just wearing a pair of ANC IEMs (such as the audio technica ath-anc23, http://www.amazon.ca/dp/B004K09H32) and then simply wearing a pair of PNI shooting muffs (i.e. the  Walkers EXT Range Shooting Folding Muff http://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00AW5YFOK) over them. I mentally operate in US$, so I'm not sure how those prices fair in CA$. The reason I chose the ath-anc23 are because they have 13mm drivers (which is pretty massive for an IEM), 32 ohms of electrical resistance (also fairly high for a pair of IEMs), and are relatively cheaper than anything else on the market (usually from around US$20-25 used/refurbished or US$40-45 new). I've noticed that lots of ANC headphones carry their own audible noise that is heard over the noise cancellation, the higher ohm helps with hearing less of this noise. And those specific shooting muffs were chosen because they simply had the highest NNR rating (34dB NRR) for nose reduction that I could find on any pair of PNI muffs and were only US$13. The headband was rather uncomfortable, so I personally cut it off and replaced it with one from a beyerdynamic headphone (there are cheaper solutions on amazon). My personal favorite headband is the one used on the beyerdynamic HS aviator headsets (http://www.beyerdynamic.de/shop/hah/spareparts/kopfpolster-5.html & http://www.beyerdynamic.de/shop/hah/spareparts/kopfpolster.html) because they are designed to be really comfortable and are made out of real leather since pilots have to wear them all day long. I could only order them through Germany by emailing the beyerdynamic representative of North_America/USA to order them for me.

-snip-

The product sounds pretty interesting to me.

Just saying though, all your links are broken. Many have an ) behind it and stuff.

From what I get, they don't even have enough time to review all the products they get from major brands ...

True, but (and while I am late on this since his trip is over) he did recently review the Sennheiser Momentum ANC wireless headphones on his trip to Singapore. So, I thought that I'd be relevant to mention it now as something that would have been a much better solution.

Sennheiser is a sponsor of Linustechtips.

LTT must likely is obligated to review some of their products in a certain time frame ;)

Also true I guess. That being said, I still hope that he gives my solution a try though. Again, I don't mind if he doesn't review my solution (though Linus is know to have done some nonsponsored mod or guide videos), I mainly want him to try it for personal use. If he could say how it fared, that'd be great, too.

I ordered a new pair of shooting muffs! I'm going to compare them with the ones that I already have.

I found a higher NRR (37 dB) rated shooting muff (this one costs more though):

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B005ERRM4G

Here's another one (35 dB NRR) that's more comfortable:

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00J75VIQY

I don't think that they can be shipped out to Canada from Amazon though. You'll have to find them on a different website.
