Building my first PC - Need some help

I'm gonna be building a PC pretty soon, Hopefully I can get some help here as I am complete noob, been a laptop guy for a while

My Budget is about 2500$... 500$ will be go for the shipping/tax/customs since I'm from Egypt.. So Just consider it 2000$.. The system will mainly be used for 3D Rendering & Video Editing/Rendering.... So a powerful "Intel" CPU comes in the first place for me... and I'll also be gaming on it.... So I'll need a good GPU that can handle 60fps on 1080p

These are the parts that I have chosen so far :

CPU : 4930K or 5820K... They're very similar in price... Not sure what to choose.. or if there's a better choice at the same price

CPU Cooler : Need help in choosing this one - Keep in mind 3D Rendering is very intense on the CPU

Storage : I need a 500GB SSD, and 1 or 2 TB HDD

Monitors : 3, 24 inch monitors (Samsung LS24D590PL) (150$ - 170$ each)

GPU : A GTX-980, Not sure if there's a better choice or not...

RAM : 16GB for now, with the ability to extend in the future

PSU : Need help in choosing this one

Motherboard : Need help in choosing this one - Need a good motherboard with some OC options

Case : Nothing chosen yet

Exclude these from the budget : Keyboard, Mouse, Speakers, Operating System

Grammar and Spelling masters, Forgive me :D... It's not my native language

This should be alright, however it is $200 over budget, and I realised that it's actually quite hard to fit a build with these requirements and solid all-round components in the budget. I'm also not sure about the monitors, I don't really know much about those...

Well, hopefully this at least helps!

BTW, remember to follow your topics.

Edit: Hold on, just realised that I had Amazon selected as the only retailer, so it's actually only $100 over after mail-in rebates. Here's the new list. Which is the same.

Unless I'm mistaken, the 5820K is about 200 dollars cheaper than the 4930K.

The Hyper 212 Evo is a common, cheap, and pretty effective air cooling solution.

I can't really vouch for or against those monitors, but their specs look good.  Depending on your applications, you might be better off with a larger resolution monitor setup.

Unless you're planning to play extremely demanding games, the GTX 980 is overkill for 1080p 60fps gaming.  (That is, if you're not wanting to run across all three monitors.)

16GB RAM may not be enough for your purposes.  Check your software for requirements and recommendations.  I know some applications benefit from 48 or 64 GB.

As for PSU wattage, here's a good tool: http://www.extreme.outervision.com/psucalculatorlite.jsp Many PSUs will do just fine.  If you're going to be using your computer for many hours of heavy load rendering a week, it may be worth it to get a high efficiency PSU for electricity bill savings, not really sure.  Corsair's CX500M line is one of my favorites for its price and the fact that it's modular, but it's not the most efficient supply on the market.

Motherboard again has a lot to do with preference, and I don't have one as I've never even used that chipset personally.  Find one with all the features you want, decent reviews, and decent price.

Case is pretty much preference.

Note: I didn't see a single spelling error :)

I got this far before I was over budget.  $100 over before rebates.  There are two 27" PLS 1080p monitors, not three.  Is there a reason you want the Samsung monitors you have listed in your original post?

For heavy rendering, you might wanna consider a dedicated SSD for rendering solely (store files on HDD, copy it onto ssd for faster rendering).

For 2000 it's a little hard to navigate prices, but it depends on how heavy a productivity user you are. 5820k is a very tempting one for rendering, but if you're seriously producing, there's the 5960x or just go with a xeon+ECC rams.

This one is only $60 over but uses a 5820k, MSI X99 SLI PLUS, and DDR4.

* Yup, seems like I was mistaken with the price, 4930K is 500+$, Then Surely I'll be going with the 5820K, It does roughly offer the same perfomance..

* Hyper 212 Evo does seem like a good choice for air cooling, It's also the best seller on Amazon, will surely keep it in my mind..

* Well, I'll surely be playing on the three monitors but of course for less demanding gaming...

* I know 16GB of RAM is not enough for me, I'll probably be expanding it as soon as I earn a few extra money after building that pc

* I was going to go CX600M, Is 500 watts enough, if I am going to do some overclocking ?

mmm, Looks Promising.... Removing these 2 monitors replacing them with 3, 24 inch monitors will save a few bucks that I can get the GTX 980

Well, I'm looking at the CINEBENCH score here,

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AlC81MjwelBgdEZNV3l6aHl1eUNwSUR4Rml0MXMzN1E&usp=sharing#gid=0

The 5820K looks pretty darn well... It's on the top 3... and I do use CINEMA 4D, so CINEBENCH is very similar to the real world perfomance I'll have on the software I'm using...

5960X is amazing, but roughly 2.5x of the price for 30% gain in the performance, it's gonna eat half my budget alone

500W should be enough for all you've said.  If you want to save some head room for adding components in the future, you can spend the extra money and get the higher wattage psu.  Your call, but 500W should be fine.

I don't have enough knowledge on productivity usage for hardware, so I won't advise you on gpu/cpu. I will say (again) that having an SSD to edit/render off of is extremely time-saving and potentially saves you from crashes.

Doesn't work...

Okay, I've got the BB code, so it should just show up I guess...

CPU Cooler: Corsair H105 73.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler  ($159.00 @ CPL Online)
Motherboard: MSI X99S SLI Plus ATX LGA2011-3 Motherboard  ($338.00 @ IJK)
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 980 4GB Superclocked ACX 2.0 Video Card  ($819.00 @ PCCaseGear)
Case: NZXT H440 (Black/Red) ATX Mid Tower Case  ($158.50 @ Centre Com)
Total: $2214.50

I also realised, this pricing is in Australian (because I am Australian) and excludes some of the items' pricing, but it is only $10 off the amount of the build in U.S. dollars with the current full price at the bottom of the list.

Great, Thanks..

a total of $1800 without the monitors from Amazon... The case looks pretty dope :D

Just one last question.. Whenever I do wanna expand my RAM, Do I have to get the same RAM, or any other DDR4 RAM will do the job ?
