To anyone who doesn't believe my BF4 FPS...

Tim Drake

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ds447QD3TsM

Yeah so I manage to get 140fps+ on 1080p, Ultra with resolution scale at 160% because of 2 tweaks I did and it still surprises me every time I launch the game..

I have told people quite a lot of times that I get this many frames but generally no one believes me..

This is not to get views this is to clear my name of lies :P

No, but my friend has a 970 and he runs at like 1080p Ultra, probably 2 or 4 msaa and gets like 100-110 fps.

This Battlefield player boosted his FPS with these two simple steps! Developers hate him!

Srs tho, how?

83411-I-understood-that-reference-gi-6jl

I unparked my CPU Cores and I added "Thread.MaxProcessorCount x"* to user.cfg and my FPS skyrocketed.

X meaning how many threads your CPU has :)

There's no way a 970 can render so many pixels and fps with ~70% utilization. You had some settings on medium before changing it to ultra. I'm thinking they hadn't been applied since you didn't restart the game.

I think so too as I was getting around 20-40fps too many but it usually sits around 120-140

To anyone trying this, don't forget to in park your CPU cores too!

if you're using windows 8.1, LIKE A DECENT PERSON, your CPU cores don't park while you're trying to play games anyway
