Small Javascript project, How long to download?

minibois

I made this in about 3 days with really no past Javascript experience.

http://www.minibois.byethost17.com/Javascript/

You can fill in the file size and internet speed yourself, you can select a number of file types (Megabyte, Gigabyte, etc.) and you can also click a game to fill in the file size automatically :)

For all Night Theme users: Night theme is standard on this website.

Looking for some feedback on this small project :D

EDIT: I made this because I wanted to be able to answer on all those threads with people asking how long it would take them to download GTA V :)

Okay then.

Hmm, I have been using this free host for about a year with now problems.

As I said, free host. It could be possible that someone made some frauds webshops or whatever under the byethos17.com domain.

I have never had this message..

EDIT: just opened with Opera, and yeah I get this message too.

Very weird. Will look into this (it's only a temporary site or whatever. Will switch to something dedicated later

If you want my opinion, make some padding between the game images, and put a small "check" box in one of the corners so the user can tell which one is selected. Obviously the easiest way to do this would be to just add and check box it to the picture, then have a secondary picture for each game that has the box "checked". but if you want to challenge yourself add it in using css and a small png image (or vector) for the check. Just an idea :)

As for the padding on each game image, just put them in a table configuration so you can easily change the padding w/out having to edit a whole lot.

87 Hours 33 Minutes 20 Seconds.

I'm not getting GTA. This is why.

I'm not paying $60 to wait that long without being able to use the internet.

Nice job though

Will work on it tomorrow.

Thanks :D

Hahaha, I understand what you mean. I gladly have good internet though :)

A friend of mine got it on DVD (because it was cheaper than Steam), but he couldn't easily get it to work with Steam :/
