Hey everyone, big update coming your way. The contest will now run every two weeks, and to kick it off the challenge is Upgrade Path Part 1.

After Upgrade Path, the challenges will mainly be low-end, mid-range, and high-end PC budget builds similar to the monthly updates of something like MaximumPC magazine. These will be on a revolving schedule, so all three will be updated every six weeks (which should allow for time for new hardware to come out).

 

There are also now a prize for the winner of each contest (in the form of a $20 Amazon gift card), courtesy of @ddbtkd456.

The prizes will be sent out on the first of each month following the contest. This gives time to assess the right funds. The prizes will be a 20 dollar gift card (usd) for each winner. 2 per month.

@CornOnJacob you might want to update the thread on the main page to 20 dollars per contest and that they will be pm'd with the code at the 1st of the month.

I will be harsher in the future and DQ people from a contest if they vote for themselves, rather than just disregarding it (I obviously don't have the power to give demerits on accounts since I'm not a mod).

I don't think that a minimum post-count is allowed on this forum and it really just inspires post-mongering. @ddbtkd456 and I can check the winner's profiles (and voter's profiles) for anything fishy, but for now it does not seem to be out of control. If you are a voter and your account is suspicious (recent creation date w/ 0 other interactions on the forum), I will PM you to try and resolve the issue privately. If you have proof (or heavy suspicion) of foul play, please bring it to my attention, but do not harass anyone.

Here is D.A.R Dream and reliable atleast i hope it is for 3-5 years of gaming ;) http://pcpartpicker.com/p/gwDrpg plus 02 dac and mod the 650d to have dual 120mm front fans and be white exept the vents the 5.25 bays and the interior :P

What he is trying to tell you is that you should not post your build in this thread, and do it in the actual contest thread linked at the top of the OP.
