First pc build - final plan

Will you be wanting to overlook in the future? In which case a 4690k would be a better choice.

Also, I cannot recommend Zalman cases, if you are on a budget they can be okay but most of them are horrible to work with and have poor build quality.

Disclaimer : I might be wrong.

Why post the same topic twice?

Sorry, I didn't realise I posted it twice... I thought the first post was canceled... I'm new to this whole forum thing. Sorry.

^^^^^^

I would go with this build. Just make sure you OC that CPU (otherwise you can get a much cheaper mobo)

When in doubt: C4

Firstly get rid of the network adapter, it's kinda pointless

SEcondly I'd go with no fan and better case (NZXT S340, I own one and it's great). Also maybe go for a lesser video card so u can use money for an even better case (maybe r9290)

PC is Intel Core i5 6400, GIgabyte H170 Gaming 3, Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x4GB 2400Mhz ,Sandisk Ultra Plus 128GB, WD Blue 1TB, NZXT S340, ASUS Geforce GTX 960. Fractal Design Tesla R2 650W. http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/793XNG. Graphics card choices don't always have to be dictated on performance. If you want the game stream and power consumption of the GTX 970 get that. If you want raw performance of the R9 390 get that. In the end we are all gamers, so what if your buddy gets an extra 5 fps?

Excuse me? Did you just recommend getting a worse video card for a better case? WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN SMOKEN M8???

That case is fine. If he wants a better one he should just spend a bit more. I don't even know why you'd think that you should downgrade to a 290 just for a better case.
