Do you need a 4790K? You could save money by going with a 4690K and 8GB of RAM, unless you need the hyper-threading and 16GB of RAM.

CPU Cooler: Corsair H90 94.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler  ($99.99 @ Micro Center) 

Motherboard: Asus Z97-AR ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  ($139.99 @ Micro Center) 

Memory: Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-2400 Memory  ($134.99 @ Amazon) <--change to pc 1600/1866 ram

Storage: Samsung 850 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive  ($99.99 @ Amazon) 

Storage: Western Digital Caviar Green 3TB 3.5" 5400RPM Internal Hard Drive  ($99.75 @ OutletPC) <--change to a wd blue drive...the greens are not reliable at all..and slow

Power Supply: Corsair Builder 600W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply  ($54.99 @ Micro Center) <--change to a seasonic 620w or xfx 600-700w

what @techguru said, but i disagree with his statement on greens being unreliable. i have used them for years without a hitch.

 

seasonic x650, evga supernova 750g2, corsair rm550, bequiet powerzone 650, superflower leadex gold 650. all kind of overkill but lots of headroom.

pc specs: 4 function calculator / 8 digit lcd display / colored numeric and function buttons

What's the advantage of 1866 ram? I mean, the latency might be lower, but that's pretty much it.
