Which one of Corsair!

Hey Guys,

I'm not sure which one to choose between those water cooler of Corsair. Those are the ones I can get at the store where I will be buying my new build. The new GT ones are not available at the store. I will probably change the fan for Corsair SP120 quiet edition so it's more quiet. I will put my build in there in case. Open to suggestion, I live in Canada and I will be buying my build at canadacomputers.com .

I'm currently running an H100i and... I love it! Took a bit of getting used to to get the graph just like I wanted but after an hour or 2 or tinkering it runs solid. I keep a nice cool temp of 33 degrees idle and 38 under normal loads. (42 if im really OC'ing) If you go with one be careful installing and apply thermal paste well for best performance.

Because for the same price I could get the newer model and should you keep the thermal paste that comes with it or put a better one?

I would get neither.

Buy the Cooler Master Nepton 240M.  It costs the same, at least in the U.S., and doesn't have some of the problems that plague the H100i like mounting problems, loud pump, loud fans, buggy software.  Not to mention, the Nepton 240M comes with two incredibly high end fans that won't need to be replaced like the others.

If you absolutely want Corsair, then the H105 over the H100i any day.

Honestly, I don't know much about the H105. Some people say the fans are better than the ones that come with the H100i; Maybe, IDK. When I got my H100i I was already planning to put some static pressure fans on it. But I love the hardware monitors the "i" version comes with. It helps out a lot with making a fan graph.

It mounts easily. I had no problem installing it. And the pump is quiet.

As for thermal paste, I always wipe off the "stock paste" and apply my own. Nothing amazing, I use some that came with a Cooler Master Hyper 212.

Do your own research and choose whatever will fit best for your situation. Good luck with whatever you choose!

I've had bad experiences with the mounting hardware and corsair link software with the h100i. I couldn't get it to work properly so I ended up getting the h105 instead. Everything works, the pump is quieter and the radiator is thicker.
