Choosing an OS

Im currently saving up to buy the parts for my build and the last thing i need is an OS. i just found out today that windows 10 is coming out end of july so i want to find windows 7 or 8 for cheap before i switch over to 10 in like 2 months. any links on where i can find these OS cheap?

I'm not sure though, I think MS products were outlawed because of the exploitation of the Dreamspark service.

Other than that look on craigslist for some old win7 netbooks or something and use their activation key?
