3.5k Gaming Budget

Ooh, okay.

If you're just gaming then there's no particular benefit in going with X99 over Z97 - so go back to the 4790k and save some money there.

It feels like you should be going for 2 Titan Xs with this sort of budget...

Sig under construction.

Replace the 1TB with a 4TB HDD.  Then you will never EVER run out unless you install GTA V 300 times and never delete anything.

Titan X will beat any game at 4K :)

For the Best builds and Price lists here is a world where many points of the price have been predefined already for your convenience!

The Xeon E3 1231 V3 IS BETTER Than the Core i5 4690K and a Significantly better value for the non-overclockers or value shoppers.

The OS is like a kind food, Try it before saying if you like it or don't.

This is true, it isn't necessary for gaming but later on so i don't have to update my motherboard, ram, and CPU later on down the road if i wanna upgrade my PC. So all i would have to really do is maybe upgrade ram, and add another titan x later on down the road.

Tell me what you think about it and if i should add or remove anything.

1000w is an overkill. Change it to a 750w.

I know it is overkill for now, I am planning ahead also so if i do add another titan x down the road I wont have to upgrade the PSU when I upgrade the graphics card.

Titan X all the way (2 way sli recommended)

Go with z97 and try to find a 6 core I know there is one for LGA 1150.

32gb of HYPER X FURY ram because why not

Fury looks better, is cheaper, and runs the same as what you have

For the love of god get rid of the blue drive and get a 2tb or 4tb black drive.

PLEASR NO MSI go with Asus they are the motherboard gods.

Recommending the next h440 or corsair graphite but that's your call

There is no 6 core cpu on LGA1150. Someone correct Me if I am wrong.

32GB Ram is just stupid. Even 16GB is a luxury.

WD Blue drives are very good. If the op requires more than 1TB then obviously He will need a couple of them or go for a different larger single HDD.

MSI, Gigabyte and Asus are all fine in My book.

If I was you I would go with an i7 4790K build. No real need for X99 unless you are doing heavy cpu intensive stuff.

I would go with something like this:

CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor  ($324.99 @ SuperBiiz)
CPU Cooler: Phanteks PH-TC14PE_RD 78.1 CFM CPU Cooler  ($64.99 @ Newegg)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z97X-Gaming 5 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  ($129.99 @ Amazon)
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX Titan X 12GB Video Card  ($999.99 @ NCIX US)
Case: Phanteks Enthoo Luxe ATX Full Tower Case  ($142.99 @ NCIX US)
Optical Drive: Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer  ($18.95 @ OutletPC)
Monitor: Acer XB280HK 60Hz 28.0" Monitor  ($742.20 @ Amazon)
Keyboard: Corsair Vengeance K70 Wired Gaming Keyboard  ($129.00 @ NCIX US)
Total: $2905.56
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available
