Help....I brought my pc to a friend's house and now it isn't booting up

psychomania18

Hi, so I brought my pc to a friends house and now it isn't booting up. All the lights and fans turn on. One thing I noticed is the gpu fans seem to spin up really fast then slow down and this happens continuously. I have checked the gpu in another computer and it works fine. I have the motherboard speaker plugged in and I am getting no beeps at all. Any help would be greatly

Appreciated. Thanks

I'd make sure that all of the power connections are properly plugged in (on both ends if you have a modular/semi modular power supply).

Sig under construction.

Try reseating the ram and CPU. Maybe that could be the reason for not booting up or try reseting the CMOS

Check the cables, make sure all cables are properly connected to the Motherboard. Maybe try replugging them, unplug it then replug it just to be sure.

Power not coming from the outlet?

I don't think so that is possible. If got no power coming from outlet, others should be affect also.
