UK Budget Cases

Cathal
Hey guys. Below is the build I'm likely to buy within the next week. I'm pretty certain on all of the parts, bar the case. I'm was looking for the best mATX case for under £30. So far the best I've found is the Core 1100, but while I don't mind the look of it, it isn't exactly beautiful. What I'm wondering is whether I should just go with a cheaper case, or whether I should say screw the budget and go for a £50 case. Even at that price range there isn't many options for cases. In the long run, would I regret going with a cheap case?

Motherboard: MSI H81M-E33 Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  (£34.51 @ Amazon UK)

Memory: Crucial 4GB (1 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory  (£23.00 @ Amazon UK)

Case: Fractal Design Core 1100 MicroATX Mini Tower Case  (£27.58 @ CCL Computers)

Total: £182.59

I'll take a look on Scan, eBay and Amazon UK...

If you can stretch another £10, you can get the NZXT S340 (which is full ATX) but is a great case nonetheless...

The Fractal Design Define Mini is awesome but too expensive...

The Arc Mini series is too expensive too...

Have you looked at the Thermaltake Commander MS-I? Again this is ATX but will fit mATX http://www.scan.co.uk/products/thermaltake-commander-ms-i-snow-edition-white-with-usb-30-and-black-interior

On Ebay, there's the Cougar Spike for around £32 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Cougar-Spike-Black-Midi-Tower-Case-USB-3-0-/381187986056?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item58c0931288This is mATX.

Sig under construction.

Hello welcome to the forums.

In general a cheaper case will mean a cheaper quality of materials less radiator space and less room for longer gpu's, less fan filters and fan spots. I would recommend going with a corsair case simply for there impressive build quality.

An AMD cpu has no place in a solely gaming build, end of.

I3 4150, Intel HD graphics, corsair CX750M, 4gb ram, Asus H81M-E, corsair 230T, Intel stock cooler WD Green 2TB Gigabyte 550TI

Why you shouldn't trust Gpu or Cpu boss Click on this I dare you!
