CPU Temps too high?

Olivar9800

Mjello everyone!

I just made a new PC a few months ago and ive been a little worried that my CPU cooler was too cheap...?

I bought an Antec Kühler h20 650 to save a little cash, but i guess that was a bad idea..?

I run around 35 degree celsius at 0% load with CPU fan at 1000RPM (I use Al suite 3 from Asus)

When i play Battlefield 3 at Ultra settings with my background programs and antivirus i run at around 70-80 degree celsius..

and sometimes i overheat my GPU even tho i can turn the fans up/down by itself..

Is there something wrong with my PC or is it perfecktly normal?

Could someone please help me to see what's wrong?

And sorry for my bad English grammar!

My PC specs are:

CPU: Intel Core i7 4790k 4.00Ghz

GPU: Asus Strix GTX970 4GB

RAM: Kingston 16GB DDR3-2133 HyperX Beast

Motherboard: Asus MAXIMUS VII RANGER

SSD: Samsung 840 EVO 250GB

HDD: 3TB Seagate Barracuda (7200rpm, 6GB/s)

Well its not running at full speed, just on the "Full speed" settings in Ai Suite.

I have okay case airflow, but im getting new fans next month so i can increase the airflow a bit.

But if its just ariflow i guess its not a "problem".

I don't see a problem. Your CPU is well under 100C, so it is not overheating.

If your processor is in the 90+ degrees, THEN we would be talking as it is very close from the overheating protection system of 100C, where the system will shutdown on you. Until then, it is perfectly fine.
