Not really. The 980 beats the 290x of the second build, and the first build has an EVGA gpu, which I have found to be somewhat finicky. (Had a problem with one, RMA'd it, got a brand new one, problem continued, switch to 970 from asus, problem no longer occurs)

Ketchup is better than mustard.

GUI is better than Command Line Interface.

Dubs are better than subs

id agree with dale here also you wont need an i7 for gaming just an i5.

Right now? No, an I7 doesn't give an advantage, in a year or two? Perhaps.

Indeed. Hopefully it will mean that my 4690k isn't left completely in the dust when Star Citizen hits full release (then again, by that poiint the lga 1150 socket might well be as obsolete as the am3 AMD socket., No shots intended)
