I just made this thread so I can show a link so my dad can see my upcomming rig, don't comment. I couldn't use Google Docs because my dad dislikes google watching his every action, and the FX-8310 is the best value for what I am doing.

Fans: AF120 Quiet Edition Twin Pack ($29)

PSU: Thermaltake Smart Standard 550W ($46)

Total: $744

wot..? is your dad a conspiracy theorist. you can make the document private. it's also better than 50 other people on a forum commenting on this thread..

 

the processor can become an i5-4460. you don't even know how the 380 performs as it has not even have any release dates

 

before you complain about how we're commenting. we want to help you. it's like you're not welcoming any suggestions when you say you are buying a humvee because of the "great gas mileage"

The 380 is basically a reprint of the 290 based of off specs leaked. So that CPU will bottleneck that GPU by about 15%
