Finalized outlines for this build

Hi everyone. This happens to be my first build. I'm going to pick all the parts up this week. Before I do that, I just wanted to know if it looked good enough.

I'm mostly going to be gaming(the likes of Witcher III, GTA V etc.) on a 1080p single monitor, high to ultra settings most of the time. Also the OS is I chose is Win8. I already have a keyboard and a mouse so those are not listed in the link. Keep in mind that I currently reside in Istanbul(Turkey), so I don't have a lot of variety on certain things or they're just out of stock at the store I'm gonna be buying from. For instance I know the i5 4690k is better than the i5 4670k(obviously) and the Z series are superior to H series as far as intel mobos are concerned. I also can't go over my budget(around $1000). Otherwise I'd choose the former hardware over the latter.

Would I be able to overclock both my gpu and cpu if need be with this set up? I don't mean that in a balls to the wall fashion though. A slight overclock that'd be just good enough to perform better. Thank you.

It's fine but spwnd the couple extra bucks and get a 4790k and a cheap z97 board.

I would also go with 2x 4gb ram sticks.

And maybe throw in a couple extra bucks and get a 24'' monitor.

I would change the board as it's not OC ready, Z87 is the go to for unlocked haswell CPUs. (4670k, 4770k)

Z97 is for Devil's Canyon unlocked CPUs like the 4690k and 4790k.

Everything else is ok, but i would change the PSU to a more reliable 650w PSU from either seasonic, xfx, antec or evga.

There's little point using pcpartpicker when you're not using the listed shops.

Can you link us to where you're actually shopping?

It doesn't matter since the parts I've picked are also on pcpartpicker, hence the list.

I doubt this website comes in English, but you can try browsing it on Chrome if you wish to check it. Pretty basic stuff mostly. There are other stores that have a wider array of options but there's a particular reason why I'll be buying most of the stuff from here.

@Iani100 I'll update the list with the mobo you suggested. Thank you.

@Skyward I had the i7 4770k in mind before, but I thought it'd be slight overkill since I'm mainly building a gaming rig and not a workstation. I might push for it and never have to think about upgrading my cpu for the next 5 years though. Thanks for the suggestions.

The prices on PcPP aren't the same though and part recommendations are largely influenced by pricing.

The site doesn't use dollars--what's your actual budget?

Let me make this clear once and for all. I don't get my recommendations from that website nor do I base my budget around it. As I said, I search for the parts according to what is available here and PcPP is just a means of putting it together there, nothing more. As far as pricing goes, again, it doesn't matter what the sum total is for that build on PcPP. They also take into account some certain discounts, combo packs etc. My own budget is $1000. The prices are relative to how they're sold in dollars, they're based off of this currency. The parts I'll be buying here just about reaches that budget limit.

Which website are you referring to when you say 'that website'?

PcPP

But you're shopping in Turkey?--I don't suppose you're using USD.

I only mention dollars as it's the currency most people would probably be likely to be familiar with here. I essentially converted it from the local currency, so that people could understand better. Evidently, I'm not doing too much of a good job, lol

All in all, I know you're trying to help and I appreciate it. Money is not the issue here. You don't have to worry about it. That being said, I'll mark this thread solved unless you have suggestions about the build.

I probably have some better suggestions but yours posts seem to be conflicting.

So does that mean you have a budget or no? If yes, what is it?

I have a budget that is $1000 as mentioned before. I said money is not the issue here only because of the currency confusion that seems to be dragging on. Let's put that to rest, shall we?

Simply put, I was asking for not a major revise of the build, but if there were some parts that could be replaced with other 'smarter' buys that'd give more bang for the buck. Consequently they would be within a reasonable price range where I live(give or take $50-$100), excluding discounts etc.

Anyway, the shop you listed seems pretty empty and missing the parts you listed in PcPP. Are you shopping elsewhere?

Since there so far isn't a decent site to look at, I'll just leave a few comments about  the parts list.

You can probably get a 4670k + z87 board or 4690k + z97 with your budget--just postpone getting an aftermarket cooler till later. If that doesn't work out, just get the cheapest 1150 board with an i5 that isn't a low power variant or haswell refresh if the cheapest or near cheapest board doesn't have a compatible bios out of the box.

The 850 Evo probably isn't worth getting compared to cheaper but not far performing alternatives like the Arc: http://www.bimeks.com.tr/urun/146715/ocz-arc-100-240gb-sata3-2-5-ssd-read-480mb-s-write-430mb-s-.aspx

The Spec02 case is alright--there may be better alternatives but again, the shop linked is pretty empty..

The rm650 is overkill. A decent 550w is already plenty. For comparison, the rm450 would already be enough to power the system.

I'd recommend getting an IPS panel for the better viewing angles and colors.
