Good First open-back headphones?

Hi, I am trying to buy some headphones.

For pretty mch all my life, I've used earphones and would like a pair of decent headphones for home use.

 

First time buying headphones and was hoping for a budget of $150 (CAD)

 

I do wear glasses and have a larger head.

HD558, AD700X are good

 

Grado is also an option, although grado's house sound isnt for everyone

Please tell me why Grado shouldn't be considered an option then, you got a bad experience with them or something?

Grado is a very niche brand. For many people, you either swear by it or you hate it.

 

Rather weak bass, forward highs.

By all means look at the SR60e. You might like it.
