4790k and a h100i temps

Go to solution Solved by Faceman,

Avoid the H100i for LGA1150.  Too many problems.  Loud pump, loud fans, bad mounting, buggy software.  Its a situation to avoid.  For those it works for, it works for well, but far too many people complain about this particular product that I cannot recommend it.

Go for something else, I am a big fan of the Cooler Master Nepton 240M right now because it has a nearly silent pump, and two incredibly high end fans that come included and won't have to be replaced like other AIOs.  It is only $100-$110, so the price isn't far off, and no mounting issues.

Hi folks,

im going ot buy a h100i for my i7 (i have the stock cooler ik shame on me hahah), anyway io want it to know how my temps are going to change.

At this moment i have in idle 40 C and that ll be 20C over the ambient temp. // If its possible im more interested in the over ambient temp. \\.

i'd go with H110. Pump is better. and corsair software that comes with the h100i is garbage. yep 110% sure

Idle temp should be about 5-6*C above ambient with H100i. Something is wrong with yours. And yes, the pump of H100i is loud as hell.
