GTA V SMAA injector for AMD cards

zappian

Had like a 5 fps hit for me , i re run the benchmarks with it on.

15 fps is too high.

I had a 10fps hit on my 280X, :(

Ended up not using it, and turning the gamma down a little for better mood lighting.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

Copy paste no, Am I Razed or K Putt no, Unless you want a damn copy paste of mine a Zappian's chat log on steam, of me telling her just how to get this installed just for her game and how to enable it in game. Plus if anything, common sense kicks in and will show that performance hits will be different, system to system.

Exactly, that's why you shouldn't state it has an "x" average FPS drop.

I turned Gamma all the way down for me, looks much nicer on my monitor.

X Average is a rough estimate not a 100% guaranteed  that every system and person that runs this will get the same performance hit.

What I need is more fps. My card is barely able to run the game at 60 fps. And even turning all the settings down, it for some reason doesn't hit even 60. I do not have vsync on.

Wanna hang out with me and people like @Theslsamg, @ Ssoele, @BENTHEREN, @Lanoi, @Whiskers, @_ASSASSIN_, @Looney, @WunderWuffle, and @nsyedhasan. Well.... Check out: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/48484-unofficial-linustechtips-teamschnitzel-server-teamspeak/

This game seems to hate FX sorry.

I did this with an nvidia card and it didn't make a noticable difference but took 5-10 fps from me. Just thought I would let people know.

Were you using MSAA on top?

This is a reshade too , makes the game look much nicer.

And the SMAA is very noticeable over FXAA , at least a the resolution I am running.

I tried on top of and without MSAA and neither looked nice enough for me.

K-Putt still made it look nicer but not worth it imo with some of the frame drops in this game.

Would this one work for Nvidia aswell? I may try your one.

This K-Putt fellow didn't change jack shit for the SMAA settings for SweetFX.

It was left at default, so here is the settings I changed and made a bigger difference.

You might also use FXAA on SweetFX rather than the in-game FXAA, just adjust it properly in SweetFX_settings.txt

#define SMAA_THRESHOLD              	0.8  						#define SMAA_MAX_SEARCH_STEPS         	98  						#define SMAA_MAX_SEARCH_STEPS_DIAG    	16  						#define SMAA_CORNER_ROUNDING           	100  						// -- Advanced SMAA settings --#define SMAA_EDGE_DETECTION            	1  							#define SMAA_DIRECTX9_LINEAR_BLEND     	0  																								// -- SMAA Predication settings --#define SMAA_PREDICATION               	0  						#define SMAA_PREDICATION_THRESHOLD 		0.09  						                                 #define SMAA_PREDICATION_SCALE       	1.0  						#define SMAA_PREDICATION_STRENGTH    	20.4

Thank you, I had no clue about SMAA settings and was waiting for someone who did <3
