GTA V PC Texture Generation/FPS Deficiency

Hey,

 

I have recently purchased GTA V PC and have some problems as detailed in the subject. I am running a GTX 970 and have installed the latest GTA V compatible/optimised driver. Furthermore I am running an Intel 4570k processor. As seen in the screenshot added I am having some rather large texture generation problems. As well as this the FPS is not at the level it should be at, which makes for very laggy game play. Has anyone else encountered this problem and/or have a solution to the problem?

Never seen that problem, what settings are you running at

 

You might just have to experiment with different options, draw distance, texture quality etc - make sure you are not exceeding your VRAM

looks like GTA 3, are you sure you downloaded GTA V?

We can't Benchmark like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to shove more GPUs in your computer. Like the time I needed to NV-Link, because I needed a higher HeavenBench score, so I did an SLI, which is what they called NV-Link back in the day. So, I decided to put two GPUs in my computer, which was the style at the time. Now, to add another GPU to your computer, costs a new PSU. Now in those days PSUs said OCZ on them, "Gimme 750W OCZs for an SLI" you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had two GPUs in my rig, which was the style at the time! They didn't have RGB PSUs at the time, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big green ones.

Looks like the game wasn't able to load the textures off of your drive.

something is hammering your hard drive. Or your out of RAM

so.. GTA V is just GTA 3 skinned as we seen in this screenshot.

 

try settings all the settings in advanced graphics to off og lowest settings, it´s where most of the issues are..

 

mine 970´s run without any hickups...

it seems like your using more than 3.5gb of Vram

I had that problem with an R7 260X before I updated to the beta driver but after that it was flawless. Try changing your settings or turning off everything in the advanced graphics menu. If it already is then turn off MSAA or just have it at 2x, MSAA in this game is very taxing on GPUs.
