Why did you choose AMD over NVIDIA or Nvidia over AMD?

At the time drivers were horrible for ATi hardware, now drivers have come a long way for team red, my main usage takes use of PhysX and CUDA however.

PhysX

So you play all of 3 games ? Saying you bought a GPU because of Physx is like buying a car solely based on the door handle and not on what actually counts like things such as performance, price, included extras/freebies, etc.

sorry, but how can you live with only 1 tb of storage? I'd die seriously.

I have 395GB left. Its probably because I don't download every single thing I see on torrent sites or something. What I don't get is how people can fill up 4tb hard drives and stuff today. Although, those larger drives might come in handy with fraps and other programs like that.

Old shit no one cares about but me.

Nvidia for Production (CUDA) plus i get the benefit of having the option to use PhysX in those games that support it.

No problems with my 7770 Crossfire setup, but it did suffer from frame latency issues, which 13.8 fixed for me.

I chose AMD over Nvidia cus I thought BF4 would be optimised better on AMD, I might go back to Nvidia for my next card

I had a GHz7970 last month. It wasn't the sole reason. I wanted a better dual GPU setup for Jan 2014.

Nvidia

Shadow Play(soon), Shield Support(I want one to comfy play stuff like war frame on my bed.).

My reason: I planned to buy a second gpu for sli/crossfire in the future , at the time of deciding cards AMD had the frame rating problem with crossfire so I went for Nvidia. AMD also had more free games(never settle bundle)with purchase of card, but I didn't let games affect my decision as some people have.

I chose nvidia over AMD because I was buying into the 3d vision surround experience

I put my money on the wrong chips. 3dvision sucks. Surround sucks. Nvidias drivers are all over the place atm too. Awesome.
