EVGA Sleeved Cables Compatibility

I'm planning to buy a new power supply, the EVGA SUPERNOVA 1050GS. But are the EVGA Individually Sleeved cables compatible with it? I searched on its website but it doesn't appear on the compatibility list. But since this PSU line is quite new I don't know if they have updated their website.

Any one knows if they are compatible?  :)

Yes the Seasonic made GS units and the SuperFlower made units all use the same pinouts so the cables work on either. I read this in a review of the EVGA GS. I will try and find it and post it in here.

  • 3 months later...

I ordered these cables for my 650W EVGA Supernova GS power supply. The 8 pin Mobo cable has a little plastic piece connecting two of the pins together on the power supply side of the cable so it won't plug in.

The computer also refuses to boot with the SATA connector plugged into either of my hard drives. The only way to get the computer to boot is by using the sata connector that came with the power supply.

Question. Don't the Evga psu cables come with capacitors built into them to help control ripple? So how bad is the ripple without them? Just wondering if you or anyone else seen anything.

our SE-Series is compatible with the EVGA GS Series and available in 12 colors here

Are you certain these are compatible with the 1050GS? I watched the videos and they state support for the G2 series but not the original series.

220-GS-1050-V1 is the exact model I'm inquiring about. Thanks!

none of our cable sets is compatible with the GS Series - we will launch cable sets for this PSU Series in a couple of weeks.

Awesome! Thank you for the update! Is there a way to be notified once they've launched?

I bought these cables because of the above comment about it being compatible. Is there any way to send these back for the proper cables. Plus restocking and shipping on my part?
