Difference between Bitdefender Total security and family pack

Hazy125

I haven't actually had any antivirus on my computer in a while but I got an email from them telling me to renew it and it gave me two options 1. Stick with total security which costs less or upgrade to the family pack which had a cheaper price before the markdown "early renewal bonus"
To me it just seems like family pack is better as it gives you support for mobile devices as well, but why is it cheaper to begin with. Is it any worse at protecting my computer than total security... Can someone tell me which is the better option and I don't mind paying the extra for the family pack

I am good at computer
