Suggestions for Audio Setup in Bedroom for Under $1500

I just wanted some suggestions on how I should setup a sound system for under $1500 and what equipment/brands I should used?

Whatever you do, stay away from all-in-one units (bose, etc). A $1500 budget is pretty decent for getting started in home theater so get proper speakers.
