i know, im sorry, its a reference to a video from MSI about thermal paste application. apparently the video has been removed.

tbh, its a bit much, and what is that grey matter around the chip? old dried out thermal paste?

may your framerates be high and your temperatures be low. #pcmr

Looks fine?

If you're doing all that, you should try to mod a Noctua fan in there... Hahaha

Good to know :D

I was considering putting LEDs and 2 Noctuas in there... I got the Xbox for free as it was RRoD :P

I have some but strangely the Nail Polish remover does not have any alcohol in it, tried it and the results were better with the perfume :P

That is odd because nail polish remover normally needs it. even methylated spirits works.

Gonna go with, that's way too much, in most applications you let the heat sink spread the paste anyways, but yeah thats massively too much

CuQjaT4.jpgThis is how much i put on my PS3, but i actually ran out and should go back and double check the paste.

Intel i5-3570K/ Gigabyte GTX 1080/ Asus PA248Q/ Sony MDR-7506/MSI Z77A-G45/ NHD-14/Samsung 840 EVO 256GB+ Seagate Barracuda 3TB/ 16GB HyperX Blue 1600MHZ/  750w PSU/ Corsiar Carbide 500R
