Hey,

 

I have not seen a post on this anywhere- what is your top 10 games that you'd recommend to someone before they die? Could be any game. Here is my list:

 

1. Elder Scrolls Skyrim

2. Fallout 3

3. Fallout New Vegas

4. Mass Effect 1

5. Dark Souls 1

6. Crash Bandicoot

7. The Last of Us (definitely this one)

8. This War of Mine

9. Jak and Daxter

10. GTA San Andreas

 

I have a feeling I missed out something epic. Please, write down YOUR favorite 10! B)

We can't Benchmark like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to shove more GPUs in your computer. Like the time I needed to NV-Link, because I needed a higher HeavenBench score, so I did an SLI, which is what they called NV-Link back in the day. So, I decided to put two GPUs in my computer, which was the style at the time. Now, to add another GPU to your computer, costs a new PSU. Now in those days PSUs said OCZ on them, "Gimme 750W OCZs for an SLI" you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had two GPUs in my rig, which was the style at the time! They didn't have RGB PSUs at the time, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big green ones.

Wolfenstein (the new one)

Doom (the first one)

Tomb Raider (the new one)

Crysis 1, warhead, and 2

Far cry 2 and 3

Minecraft!

Age of Empires 2 (with expansion)

Prince of persia (the first one, in DOS)

Final Fantasy 6, 7, 10, 12 (get an emulator and enjoy)

The sims 1

Need for Speed underground 1

Colin mc rae rally (evolved into Dirt, but it was the 1st rally simulator)

 

And many more... I feel I'm forgetting a lot of great games!

I want to get into Fallout as I never played it because I like free roam games a lot and I wana play it mainly for this. But I heard that you cant free roam once you finish the story in New Vegas?

None.  I have had so many good experiences with games going back to when I was a kid that I don't have anything I must play before I die.

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

Why is everybody so obsessed with Fallout:NV? I tried playing it, and I couldn't even get to NV it was that boring
