Sony Vegas Pro 13, MP4 Importing...

Hi there, 

 

I recently got Sony Vegas Pro 13 installed on my computer after using Pro 12 for a while. I have recently recorded close to about 50gigs of video in 1080p at 60fps and went to go import it into Vegas Pro 13. It has multiple audio tracks (Two) and when I drop it into the editing bar it only imports the audio, and not a lick of video, it does not even create an empty track. 

 

I have searched and searched for a solution online, and any that have been there are unclear, and I have looked for multiple codecs, and have installed about 3 and none of them work. I would like to refrain from the option of just switching to AVi recording as I would lose all this footage, any tips help!

does this happen with other files you recorded?

It's happened with every single video I have recorded over the last 2 weeks, they are all MP4 files, and Im just looking to see if I can get MP4 to import properly.

Could you maybe show us the properties of one of the videos, please? It may help.

Here are the properties both from windows itself, as well from Vegas Pro 13, in Vegas it does not detect video at all, but on windows it detects frame rate as well as resolution, etc...
Pirated or not, people on the sony forums have been having the same issue in Vegas Pro 11-13 even when purchased, so it should not be affected by such.

Pirated or not, people on the sony forums have been having the same issue in Vegas Pro 11-13 even when purchased, so it should not be affected by such.

It certainly CAN matter, and we need as much info as possible.

Well, if you didn't buy it, i would suggest reverting back to 12. 

All of the ones i have found for 13 are kinda bad, and unstable for the most part.

If you DID buy it, try re installing it.
