I ordered mine the day Linus' video hit vessel.

I got it from shopblt for 750+free S&H. I ended up getting put on a back-order list with 40 other ppl. The store got a big shipment from acer sooner than expected, and some ppl ahead of me on the backorder list dropped out. So I ended up getting the monitor a full week ahead of schedule.

G-Sync makes a HUGE difference. I definitely don't wanna game without it now lol

I get 70fps in BFHL @ 1440p, and before I was getting around 120fps @ 1080p. Maybe it's just the placebo effect, but I swear that at 70fps w/ g-sync the game just feels so much smoother and more fluid.

Actually, he has 1 780 Ti Dual Classified.

Correct me if I'm wrong but it's named Dual due to the 2 Bios settings it has.

I'm not completely sure as I only kept my 780 Ti Dual Classified for about ~5 months before my 980 arrived.

His FPS is where it should be.

My 980 got about ~80 FPS on 1440P with max AA on BF4.

YUP! You are indeed correct. I'm at stock clocks right now though (1020/7000). With me sitting so close to the 60fps bubble, I might go ahead and start overclocking my card. Never had a reason to, until now, it was tearing through everything at 1080p.

Oh, lol my mistake. I read that as 2 cards.... L

You're actually not the first person to make that mistake this week. Don't feel bad, blame EVGA for their silly naming scheme. Changed my sig a little, maybe that'll help in the future :P

For those interested in getting this, you can buy it directly from Acer at http://store.acer.comI just got off chat support and was told they just got shipment in today.

You can also use coupon code: "SeizeTheIdea" to save an additional 10% off MSRP! This basically saves you tax/shipping fees overall.

This monitor is pretty much any "green team" gamer's dream... Is there anything better on the market right now?

i have one and it's awesome, i think it's the best monitor for gaming money can buy at the moment, hands down...worth every penny.

Yes and Yes.

cable is only 3 feet long though, i had to order a 6 foot one because it wouldnt reach my computer.

My case (air 540) will be right next to the monitor, so distance isnt an issue, but thanks for mentioning the cable length

There are three versions of the panel which are 1440p with Gsync from Acer, They ARE:

Acer XB270HU Abprz (This one is TN, watch out!!...that's why it's cheaper!!)

Acer XB270HU bprz (this is the IPS version first model )

Acer XB271HU bmiprz (this is the NEW IPS version with the transformer looking design and predator brending all over it)

Thanks to you, I bought the right monitor. So thank you :)

I have a GTX 970, and I really don't notice any huge performance impacts coming from 1080p.

G-Sync does come in handy though, especially in demanding games. You should easily be able to reach 60fps on high/highest settings in most games.
