Mechanical keyboard for $90/£70?

Tim Drake

I am looking for a good keyboard for £70 or less and I don't want Cherry MX Reds, I am fine with Kailh or used keyboards too.

Thanks :)

Well, no reds. Alrighty then. What switch do you want then? Check the link in my sig for ALL the info!

If you don't want reds, why exactly? The weight? The fact that it's linear and not tactile? Too quiet?

Eh, you should look for browns or blues at your price range.

The basic, safe, awesome Cooler Master Rapid can be found in USD for $79 which I think goes over your budget with inflation, but this is a safe keyboard to buy used.

OH, also, a keyboard made by Cherry http://www.amazon.co.uk/Cherry-Quality-Action-Keyboard-G80-3000LSCGB-2/dp/B0041KJKAG/ref=sr_1_2?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1427850294&sr=1-2&keywords=cherry+mx+blue

Cherry makes the very best keyboards yo.

Do you want something flashier? Again, check Cooler Master.

Cooler master makes really default one tho.

I have a guy on Reddit selling a quick fire rapid for like £50 and it seems like a great deal but it will probably get sold by the time I have the money :(

Cooler Master has pretty good mechanical keyboards that won't break the bank with their CM Storm series. They're in all kinds of flavors.

Yeah, right guys? Guys?

At the price you have it might be hard to get something flashier for your price range. Nowadays, keyboards are classy and understated or flashy RGB. No inbetween.
