Phone buying help

I really dont want to buy a phone at the moment as i feel everything is way overpriced however my current setup is awful

:

 

iphone 4 with broken screen and broken headphone jack for general use

iphone 3gs for music

 

i dont wanna spend much money. i also may be moving to america soon so dont know if that changes anything (currently UK)

 

what you guys think.

 

BTW Music is very important but i dont need to much storage.

If price is the problem, get an asus zenfone 2 as soon as it drops in your region. Ultra high end features for 200$.

Zen fone looks great !!! But not available in UK. It's in France tho so I guess I could get it shipped over here

It should be available soon worldwide, where I live it's coming out on the 4th. But yeah, you should be able to ship from france no problem.

Yes it will probably make a difference. Different mobile providers only work on certain variants of phones.

Oneplus One when you move to America? The Oneplus Two may even be out at that time. Great stuff at very alluring prices.

i did think about that. i really like the phone but desperately need one. if i get one in the uk thats unlocked, will i be able to use it in the US? no idea how the us sim card system works

The UK (and pretty much the rest of the world) use GSM models. Certain carriers in the US use different ones with different antennae.

 

That's my understanding of it.
