TP-Link have a great range of AC modems for very good prices. Best value units on the market.

afaik Netgear R7000. There's better ones out there but R7000 is one of the best for the money in it's class

I've had a Netgear D6300 for a fair while and haven't had any issues. To my knowledge Netgear makes a lot of models similar to it, there might be one that suits what you are after.
