from personal experience, having a decent desk, and having your arms in the propper way helps much more than an ergonomic keyboard.

sidenote: most "ergonomic" peripherals are moneygrabbers, asking hundreds of dollars for a 20 dollar product.

i'd suggest getting a generic keyboard with a sizable wrist rest.

if thats not enough, look out for something like this: http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/_base_v1/products/natural-ergonomic-keyboard-4000/mk_nek4000_large.jpg

it removes the slight angle the wrists need to make to type properly, while also providing much support for the wrist, letting the arms pretty much rest while typing.

-- this comes from someone that had everything from lower back pain, to cramps in his thumb from gaming..

EDIT: actually, thats a damn cheap keyboard, try and find it in your area. http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-gb/p/natural-ergonomic-keyboard-4000
