New Headset + Mouse

megab2000

Looking to get a new headset and (maybe) a new mouse.

I am currently using the Razer Kraken pro but its getting old and you can tell it's sound quality is dying.

I am also using a rat 9 wireless gaming mouse which i love but it keeps having problems that it doesn't move for a few seconds???

I do not want to go straight to a £200 headset so please try keep it under that budget for the headset (the cheaper the better but must be better than my current headset and worth upgrading), also if it is compatible with PS4 that is a bonus (although i don't care about this enough to put it in a specification).

The mouse I have no clue as I have seen lots of mouses around the £50 mark which proffessional players use. The mouse needs to have at least 2 buttons on the side (don't want to have to change my play style too much)

I am currently only playing CS:GO which is what these upgrades will be used for although I do listen to a lot of music which the headphones will also be used for.

Please will you help me :)

From what I see on the website the 1 has a detachable microphone and the 2 has a usb audio control box although it looks like the 2 also has a removable mic.

I would strongly advise against a headset, especially the HyperX one for that matter. Best solution? Get a pair of AKG's or Shure for $80 and a seperate microphone. You will get better quality that way than what any other headset can offer you.

CPU: G3258 @ 4GHz GPU: Gigabyte GTX 960 OC RAM: 8GB G.Skill DDR3 1600 SSD: Corsair LS 120GB Case: Antec GX500 Mouse: Logitech G402 Keyboard: Razer Blackwidow Headphones: Shure SRH440 Microphone: That Zalman Zm-Mic1 that everyone recommends but noone uses

Remember when the R9 280 was the HD 7950? Pepperidge Farm remembers.

I own G502 great mouse and would buy HyperX Cloud 2 if my steelseries headset died.

This would cost u £120 maximum and would be great.

Can't believe u own Razer Kraken, ear buds are too small and ears hurt from them. Over ear cups are the best way to go.

would you say the hyperx cloud 2 are better than the siberia v2 that you have?

also would a steelseries rival be a better option than the g502 as i do not need all the programmable keys? also a lot of proffessional cs go players are using the rival and they do reccommend it?

All the reviews say that mic on Cloud 2 is good whereas u hardly find people these days who say SS V2 has a good mic. Its very old headset by now.

I haven't tried Cloud 2 but reviews on YouTube say it's very good headset and some say best in the price range ATM.

I heard good stuff about SS mouse so if u don't want G502 then feel free :)

Can not recommend it since I never watched any reviews on it nor tried it myself.

When it comes to what tech Pro gamers recommend I'm very sceptic since they are under a contract with the sponsor and they represent the brand at that point.
