CPU advice

Is the 2500k still a decent CPU?

I have been given a maximus 4 gene-z and a 2500k with 8gb ram.

I have just bought a 780ti reference which was £250 from OCUK, would this card be OK with a 2500k IE no bottlenecks?

Thanks
