I was wanting to make a new computer and I was wonder what you would suggest for a CPU and Motherboard. I will be using this computer mainly for gaming. I want something that can run my games well and at a high FPS. If you have any suggestions I would be happy to listen. Thank you for your time.

Budget is $500 at most. I play a lot of steam games but mainly play source games like G MOD, CS:S, CS:GO. I am located in Colorado.

Unless you're playing Far Cry 4 or Dragon Age, an i3 shall do fine. Though if you're playing anything like Battlefield, the i5 could be nice too.

If you want a more upgrade-worthy motherboard, you could get an H97, and if you want bump the CPU to an i5 4690.
For G Mod and CS:GO, an i3 is more than enough, though this is only $30 extra.
