Corsair K70 RGB or Razer Blackwidow Chroma

Hello guys im debating on k70 Or Chroma im not looking for software problems just build quality of the two and pros and cons of the two i know that razor has them china kailh Switches and the k70 have the cherry mx reds so i please dont post on the switches so thanks i guess

Haha. Anyway I'm a Razer fanboy here (looking at my profile pic it's not that hard to guess). But seriously, it's more like I like the brand / logo more than the item itself. I do agree that their keyboard build is not really the best. Mouse wise, I personally think Razer is still pretty good. keyboard wise .... I'm not going to comment, but you get the picture (no pun intended).

Corsair K70. Used the Razer BlackWidow in store, nothing special, tried the K70, fell in love, + its easier to maintain, ripping the keys out is easy.

I have the K70 RGB, it's absolutely amazing!

I'v used Razer products and I'll never  use them again. (Apart from my mouse pad, they can't stuff that up can they?)

My Razer Blackwidow Ultimate and my Mad Catz R.A.T 5 recently died on me and im in need of a new mouse and keyboard. Looking for a high quality brand that will last long at a reasonable price. Would like to keep the price in the range of 50$ for mouse and 100$ for keyboard

May I ask, as I am in the same boat atm, are there still software issues with the K70 RGB as of today or have these all been patched?

Really on the fence between a K70(normal one) and the RGB version, the RGB version scares me because of all the software related problems I keep hearing about them.

I had the Chroma first, returned it for a K70... Its far superior. Build Quality, brightness, ergonomics, and those beautiful german engineered switches. It takes 10sec to clean the K70, so if you are the kinda sicko that eats dry toast while gaming, the crumbs come off with just a tilt
