Media Monitor for iOS

I have no idea how to build an app, yet I feel I want to. I am a PC enthusiast. Not a phone or mobile system one. I own an iPhone 5S. (At the time of signing the contract for the 5s I had no idea about anything technical. I've come a ways. I want maybe a One M9.) I have an idea for an app that takes all your social media notifications and puts them into a simple reader. A simple screen with small circular icons for Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and Youtube. When you click on one of the icons it takes you to a page that looks similar to the forum notification drop-down menu. I have no idea of the technical aspect of this but I would like to learn. If this is successful I would like to port this to an Android app. All and any help appreciated. Thanks!
