I'll guess you mean being off the screen. Could be the offset set in monitor settings or GPU's control panel.

Set the resolution to the correct one or there a black bar on the top too?

There are no settings that have to do with offset. I don't know how to get the GPU control panel.

The resolution is correct. It's cut off on all sides.

There's usually an auto-adjust button on the monitor.

There's not.

If it's cut off on all sides, the resolution probably is not correct.

And to get in the GPU control panel, you right click on your desktop and press Catalyst Control Center (if you have AMD) or Nvidia Control Panel (if you have Nvidia)

The resolution is correct. I swear. Even changing it to other resolutions don't fix it.

I have no idea what GPU I have. How do I tell what GPU I have? I have a laptop.

This TV doesn't even have a Hue setting. I don't see auto adjust anywhere.

Oh, Okay. You need to the change the aspect ratio.

It's GateWay. That's all I know.

It probably only has Intel HD graphics.

If you have an AMD GPU/APU and the latest drivers, you go into catalyst control center and click video. I don't remember the exact option, but it should be in there somewhere. I don't know if this is the same with Intel Graphics or Nvidia.

I don't have anything on my computer called catalyst control center.

To check just right click on the desktop. If its not there than you don't have it.

This is called overscan, TVs do it. Go into the TV's settings and try to find something called Scan Setting, and set it to 1:1 or Just Scan. If you can't find it go into the AMD/NVIDIA/Intel control panel and adjust scan settings there.

Go into Device Manager to find out what graphics chip you've got.

Its called overscan. TVs do it to clean up the cable signal. Unless you're lucky, there's typically not a way to fix it. Try fucking around in Intel HD graphics driver looking for something related to aspect ratio or something. Its a 1-100 thing. Has separate settings for vertical and horizontal.

I looked at my living room TV and it had the Just Scan option which fixed everything, but this TV doesn't have any Aspect Ratio settings. I believe it's a lost cause.
