Help With Drivers.

jarude37

I am a first time pc builder. I have a question about intel graphics media acclerator drivers. Is it really needed? I have a gtx 960. Will the geforce drivers have a conflict with the intel graphics media accelerator drivers?

Any help on this will be very much appreciated.

Your onboard will be automatical disabled when you use an external card. There isn't a problem with it.

On a sidenote: Windows Update installs the Nvidia Display Driver but make sure to install the latest driver from nvidia once this is done.

Edit: Link to latest 960 driver http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/83080/en-us

No, they won't conflict. You can have Intels drivers installed and use that port while using dedicated GPU.
