Do you get pissed of at multiplayer games and find yourself playing more single palyer story games?

bydus

Like in the title. I'm getting pissed of at mutliplayer games like battlefield where on many servers team ballance is absolutely shit and you find yourself fighting a team of clan members against seasonal players. Not to mention if you happen to be in the winning team and you are doing well autoballance switches you to the other team before the end of the match :/ ugh, as much as I love PC i enjoyed multiplayer on ps4 much more.

Usually when I get a bad experience in a particular game I blame the game design as opposed to the players... not every multiplayer game is like bf (in fact even older battlefields were way better in certain ways). As a primarily sc2 player, I don't really get that feeling. If I loose it's only my fault and an incentive to play another match and try to improve. Sometimes I'm tired and playing such a difficult game isn't really ideal so I'll play something singleplayer, where if I don't play at my best it doesn't matter. Or I just do something else.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

I primarily play PlanetSide2, where you have to deal with imbalanced fights all the time. Whenever I'm getting pissed of at it I do tend to play more single player games (hitman absolution atm).

Nah the other way round, I only play single player games or game modes when I'm on a good mood.

I'm not much of a competitive player. When I play multiplayer games I tend to only play cooperative modes (such as WoW raids)

I tend to get angry when playing pvp games :P

You took the words right out of my mouth. Right now I just started playing hardline and it's frustrating! I almost empty a whole clip on somebody only for them to turn around and 2 shot me. So after so many rounds of that, I just go back to single player. Weird thing is, I enjoy hardcore mode in multiplayer more. Tends to even things out for everybody.

I have a potato!

I can never rank up to Silver 2 in CS:GO so I only play with the bots. I warmup in deathmatch and demoliton with them, and play competitive with them like usual. Now I am 40 bombing every game.

I don't get pissed off at the game.  I get pissed off at the player, but I do find myself gravitating toward single player games lately.  Probably due to the fact that my steam library keep on growing.

Nah, I love playing CS:GO. The thing is, that playing against real people just feels more genuine. I do love a lot of SP games as well, but a good MP game beats it.

Yup. I've been playing on MP games for so many years ... or, I prefer to go on Coop games vs IA games (like dying light). It's really really fun.

The problem with MP games where teamplay is involved, is that so many people actually play solo. Battlefield is the perfect example.

Multiplayer games where you are the only one to blame (like SC2, Street fighter) is ok for me.

But overall yes, I'm awaiting GTA/The Witcher/Batman so much compared to other MP games ...

Usually when I play matches in Dota 2 and I get paired with terrible teammates or trashtalkers I just try to keep calm and laugh at the situation and sometimes I just troll my teammates a bit. Getting crappy teammates is part of any multiplayer game. You can't expect to get good teammates all the time.

Change your game :P

I never enjoyed bf Mp its great and I thought I was having fun but yeah found times when i was super angry. But now playing CS:GO and loving it and really enjoying the Multiplayer

Be warned though, games like CS:GO and Dota2 have a seriously steep learning curve before you get to a point where you can really start enjoyig yourself.

I get pissed off at single player games and go back to multiplayer ones. It's way more fun to play with friends anyways.

If I get pissed at multiplayer, GTA5 appears on my screen and I start beating the shit outta randoms.

Actually worries me how fun this is.

Certain Multiplayer games where it's a free-for-all and there is barely any teamwork, unless in a clan, yes. I never rage. On the flip side I do play an MORPG (Yes MORPG), a small niche game and the community is great. It can either be a full on player fest or as quiet as any SP sandbox, depending on where you are playing on the map.

Won't even install a game if it has online connectivity that can't be disabled. In the case that I really want to play it I will wait for an offline crack to come out before I buy it.

All my best gaming memories are of solid single player games with interesting story. That hasn't changed.

Multiplayer can be fun too especially with friends I'm not denying that. But for me SP is the reason I game. To go on fantastic journeys and adventures.

I actually find it harder to play single player games more than multi-player ones.  I think I just like the player interaction, no matter how toxic it can get.  The competition is much more fun for me.  I focus on learning something new with each game, that keeps me playing win or lose.
