Max core voltage on a Lighning 290x?

CoolaxGaming

Hello!

I just wanted to ask, what should the max core voltage be on a Lightning 290x. I want it to last an year or less...

Currently with +200mv on core, vrm1 and vrm2 temperatures are under 70 Celsius. The GPU core sits at 80ish degrees. If this card will be liquid cooled with dual 240mms Ina month, is +200 safe?

Or should I try +300?

Or, is it true that the card will only degrade if the vrm/core/memory temperatures get too high?

Thanks!

REALLY?

So if with liquid cooling, and the temps are under 70, I can go ballers with the voltage?

essentially yes.

my reference 290x with the stock fan curve hit 95 c with no throttling at all

I changed it to be quieter and cooler so now it doesnt go beyond 90 and is a lot quieter during normal use

if only I could use it now *sniffle* *sniffle* WHY MUST YOU DO THIS TO ME THERMALTAKE

Thats that. If you need to get in touch chances are you can find someone that knows me that can get in touch.
